Heatons Essentials
Heatons Essentials provides a hassle-free way to discover local businesses, events, jobs and deals within the Heatons, Stockport. Their dynamic listing pages, coupled with the advanced search filters help visitors to quickly and easily find exactly what they are looking for.
Overview
We were asked to design a smart directory which lists local businesses, allowing visitors to easily discover business information, events, jobs and deals. This website was unique in the fact that it required intense planning, multiple build iterations and lots of testing before it went live.
Details
Explore
The Explore page consists of a map and a number of search filters, enabling users to easily discover all of the local businesses, events, jobs and deals within the Heatons area.
Profile
Each member has their own profile displaying their business information, including contact details, social media links and a gallery. As a Heatons based business ourselves, SITEZO has a profile on this site, check us out here.
Dashboard
We developed a custom member dashboard for business owners to log into. From here they can easily edit their profile, add other listings such as events and also view listing analytics.
Listing Submission
A key requirements of Heatons Essentials was that it must have a streamlined signup and listing submission process. For this we developed a set of intuitive forms which guide the users through every step of the process.
Results
Excellent User Experience
Our carefully designed user interface allows members of the public to effortlessly discover the information that they need. Our analytics clearly show that many local residents have accessed the site and have taken action directly from the site.
Positive Feedback From Members
At the time of writing, the Heatons Essentials platform has over 20 subscribers, with many of the businesses providing a 5 star review of the website and its functionality.
